Mockup of possible new UNC football uniform
Last year I did a mock up of what could be the new look for North Carolina football. Back then it was “strictly a rumor”.
The Sun-Sentinel floated the idea of a different kind of Tar Heel blue:
One of those potential changes could prove to be the most controversial. Already the rumor mill is buzzing that Davis dislikes Carolina blue and wants to change the jersey color to navy next season. That idea may not fly, but it’s an indication Davis, 55, will stop at nothing to remake the program in his image.
Of course, UNC head football coach Butch Davis denied the rumors back then.
But are we really that far off from what the mock up looked like?
